2020年2月、大阪天満宮で行われた「てんま天神梅まつり — 盆梅と刀剣展」を全面プロデュースした。令和最初の本展では原点に立ち返り、菅原道真の生涯を軸に、情景の移ろいを通して夜の梅を楽しむ新たな祭りを打ち出した。

本展示は、室町時代作と伝わる菅原道真の肖像掛軸から始まり、幼少期の歌才、太宰府への左遷、そして天神として祀られるに至るまでの物語を、和歌や漢詩を通して各部屋で表現した。

In February 2020 I produced the “Tenma Tenjin Plum Festival — Bonbai and Swords Exhibition” at Osaka Tenmangu, overseeing the project end to end. As the first edition in the Reiwa era, the exhibition returned to its roots and presented a new plum festival that invited visitors to enjoy nighttime plum blossoms through the changing scenes of Sugawara no Michizane’s life. The show began with a hanging-scroll portrait of Michizane—believed to date from the Muromachi period—and unfolded across successive rooms, using waka and Chinese-style poems to depict his childhood poetic talent, his exile to Dazaifu, and his eventual deification as Tenjin.
