Slime molds, which do not like light, cannot be active under illumination.
They are active when the lights are off and change their patterns.
For example, every night when I read a book before going to bed, I suddenly notice that there is a change from yesterday.
The presence of this "creature," which is neither a dog nor a cat, gives me a strange sense of comfort, and we live together in a relaxed symbiosis.

粘菌と暮らす照明

電気のスイッチをいれるたびに影の模様がかわる照明
光を好まない粘菌は照明下では活動できない。
照明がOFFの時間に彼／彼女らは活動し、そのパターンを変化させる。
たとえば毎晩寝る前に本を読む時、昨日と変化があることにふと気づく。
犬や猫でもないその「生き物」の存在に不思議な心地よさを覚えながらゆるく共生する。
